Market day brings this East Yorkshire town to life, with stalls sprawling across the main square and farmers arriving from scattered Wolds villages. Driffield sits in perfect countryside - rolling chalk hills dotted with beech copses and medieval earthworks that hint at centuries of settlement.

The countryside here rewards proper exploration.
