One of the most beautiful remote places I have ever been. If you love beautiful isolation and being at one with raw nature this is for you. The fresh smell of salt and the sea was always there. The sea inspired you with its power and beauty. Will definitely return for more tranquility.
Amazing campsite. Spotless bathroom and kitchen. The view was incredible. Dog friendly and on site cafe. You can make a fire on the beach at night.
Just popped in for a coffee in the way past, ended up renting some kayaks and spending a few hours there. Great place with a little beach, kayaks were a good price. Would recommend
Cycle and tent friendly. Right on NCR 78. Very good welcome and advice on cycle routes from our host. Our pitch was on a green next to the shore and a little beach with a magnificent view of Jura across the lough. The facilities were very good, clean and modern. Went in our motorhome. Fantastic site with very spacious pitches. Maybe need your leveling ramps with you:-) nice and quite with a lovely beach walk. Its a long haul on the single track road to get there but so worth it. We got the bikes out and had a great run on good roads with not many cars to be seen. The Kilberry Inn is a must but be warned, book a table well in advance to avoid disappointmen...
