Chase Camping at Tackeroo

Great place to camp, lots of birds and wildlife. Lots of walking and mountain biking. No showers/toilets just water and bins. The warden very helpful, friendly. Will definitely be back.

This place is as near to wild camping as you will get in England! Set in the trees within Cannock Chase, and direct access to bike trails, it is picturesque and a perfect option for walking or cycling through nature.

Woop woop 🙌 what a lovely friendly campsite, off grid heaven with ample elson points, bins and fresh water, at every point your submerged in deep forest combined with fresh air and the sounds of life all around. The warden met us and showed us to a lovely spot on hardstanding which meant we had a lovely night sleep. Would I stay again yes it’s one of those spots you remember. Easy access and price...

It's a great place for walking and spending time with your family. There are special paths for cyclists, so it is convenient to ride a bike. Clean, spacious and safe. We were only here for a walk, but we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful views and atmosphere.

Beautiful well kept site for self contained campers and motorhomes. Fresh water and toilet waste disposal units available. Book your dates and chose your pitch on arrival.
