Pond Glandwgan

A small mountain lake in the hills above Aberystwyth, Pond Glandwgan sits quietly in proper sheep country - the kind of place where you can hear the wind before you see it. This isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea. If you're after attractions with loos and a café, look elsewhere. But if you want an hour in actual countryside without the crowds you'll find at Cardigan Bay further along the coast, it's absolutely worth the detour from your caravan.
