“Perfect stay — again!” Stayed at the Shepherd’s Hut twice now while working in the area, and it’s been spot on both times. The place is spotless, peaceful, and really well set up for a relaxing stay. Andre, the owner, is great — very welcoming and helpful. The log fire in the hut is amazing and makes it super cosy. Will definitely be back. 10/10 — thank you!

Had the most welcoming and friendly stay at Amber camping Andre is a fabulous host. Nothing was to much we stayed in a caravan on site warm and cosy,gas cooker and grill fridge and kettle cosy and clean 👌 situated in a beautiful part of Aberystwyth the views are stunning didn't really want to leave 😀 Toilets and shower are clean lovely hot shower plenty of loo roll and paper towels. Friendly folks...

Loved this site. The only negative thing I could say is that if there are biblical rains then it's not suitable, as happened to us. But under normal conditions I'm sure it would be perfect - the setting is picturesque, the hosts were lovely, and it was basic yet perfectly maintained and had everything we needed. We'll be back.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed, decent toilet/shower block and in a pretty handy location. Downsides were that only 1 of the 4 toilets had toilet paper and the ground on our pitch had an impenetrable layer of stones about 2 inches deep. Fantastic campsite. Spacious pitches that give you your own space without being too near to neighbours. The facilities are clean, well-cared for and convenient. Stunning views of the surrounding Welsh country side with walks around the site, one of which includes a visit to the village's Book Swap which is located by the river. We will definitely be back.
