The Orchards Holiday Caravan and Camping Park

5 of us stayed in the house at the Orchards in October. We were there for a cycling weekend and were able to ride out from the Orchards and access some excellent routes - to Yarmouth and the coast as well as inland to villages with thatched cottages and cycle-friendly cafes such as Brighstone. Stayed at the main house in early October 2025. A group of five of us were there for a cycling weekend. The house was spacious and warm, and the site was a great base from which to explore the Island, from Yarmouth to Freshwater to Ventnor. Will come back again.

Excellent site! Nice and quiet location. We stayed in a static caravan. The caravan was nice, but occasionally had noisy neighbours. Swimming pools were excellent. Location is very convenient, but you'll need to drive to the supermarkets. Staff very helpful.

If you're after a peaceful and clean holiday park, Orchards is definitely the spot. The views are stunning, and we managed to catch some beautiful sunsets. It's about a half-hour drive to most places, depending on traffic. The girls enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools, but that was pretty much the only thing they could do on-site (teenagers, right?). The shower facilities were excellent, lots of space in the cubicle to put clothes and get changed, they were also very clean and well maintained and there was always lots of hot water available.
