Romney Meadows Caravan and Camping Park

Stayed at Romney Meadows in our Motorhome during March 2026. This is a super location and we'll kept site with level, hardstanding pitches all with nice views across the arable fields. Stopped 1 night before catching the ferry at Dover. Very helpful staff. I had to leave early and wanted to top up the water tank on the MH but the water pipe was frozen. It might pay to insulate the tap and pipe as it is the only tap there is on the site for topping up water. During winter I can see it could pose a problem for campers.

Really enjoyable stay at this very friendly campsite. Great location for visiting Dungeness, Romney Marsh and Rye. Good cycling paths and a bus stop very close. The owners could not have been more welcoming. Excellent pitch, clean toilets and showers with lots of hot water, would highly recommend.

Rooms ie pitches well maintained and of a good size.Friendly greeting upon arrival and throughout. Chemical toilet and grey water disposal nicely private. Toilets clean and tidy. Location lovely. Only slight downside was the road noise but this wont put us off staying again

We stayed for two nights a mini break. The site is well equipped and was peaceful which is what we wanted. Pitches are a decent size. Onside cafe but we didn't use it. Showers were clean. The site was fully booked so a wait for Showers in the morning. Enjoyed our stay.
