The scale is impressive for what was a working church for ordinary people, not nobility.

It's the sort of place worth a half-hour if you're into medieval architecture or local history. Kids won't find it particularly engaging unless they're already church enthusiasts. The town outside is more interesting for a stroll than the interior necessarily rewards.

Parking in New Romney is straightforward, and the church is impossible to miss. Being right on Romney Marsh, you're well-positioned for the caravan parks dotted nearby - Marlie Holiday Park and Romney Meadows are literally a mile away. If you're based at any of the holiday parks within a few miles, this is an easy diversion on a rainy afternoon or between other activities. Don't go expecting revelations, but it's a solid bit of local archaeology and the sort of building that reminds you the Marsh has actual history beyond its current quietness.
