We had a lovely stay at the Withernsea site over the weekend. We set off straight from work on Friday and arrived around 8pm. The staff couldn't be more helpful. It was our first time towing and we managed to get stuck on the one way street next to the laundrette. The security guy with a flat top reversed it out for us and kept us calm and reassured. A lovely caravan park, which was clean and orderly. The caravan was virtually new and spotlessly clean and comfortable. I had few interactions with the teams but they were always courteous and helpful. Food is very good and comparable with good pub grub both in quality and pricing. Parkdean had severely messed us around and extracted far more money than was originally quoted, we were supposed to be at Cayton Bay but due to them removing our pet booking we couldn't go and had to go to Withernsea paying well over £100 more for a van that cost less initially. The site is typical of deprived areas of coastal Yorkshire. There is an enternamet complex but the pool is shut Mondays...

Check-in was quick and easy, and the caravan was clean on arrival which gave us a good first impression.
