Doxford Farm Camping

Campsite in deep countryside, lovely views across farmland. Showers/toilets spacious but didn't appear to be cleaned over the weekend we were there and be warned, if it's cold, they're not heated. Wonderful little private camp sight near to Alnwick and the Northumberland coast! We stayed on a grass pitch with EHU which all worked well and spaced well. Contactless check-in with clear instructions and little information cabin on-site. Toilets and washing amenities were well maintained and spacious. A really nice campsite in a peaceful rural location. Showers are hot and clean, pitches are perfect and there’s woodland walks really close by for dogs. They even sell their own eggs if needed.

Great first experience of a glamping pod, and if this is the normal standard we’ll definitely be doing it again. Beautiful cosy pod, stocked with basics for cooking, teas, coffee and sugar. We stayed in the glam pods with the hot tub. Perfect quiet space and peaceful with nature all around and even little footpath trails on your doorstep. Everything provided was clean and useful only additional thing we would have like would be a wine glass but that is being very picky. Beds comfortable and clean, bathroom facilities excellent. Dog friendly and good layout will be back!!!
