This a lovely small Aire that is situated right next to the estuary. Surrounded by trees this is a sheltered site and has very good facilities. Chemical waste and water is available. No electric but large spaces that would fit the largest of motorhomes. There is also a decent EE signal so you can access the website to pay. The sites asks for a donation which can be paid via the Caerlaverock webs...
Absolutely amazing place very quiet and safe plenty room went in the summer and then moved to there other stopover in glencaple.

We used this as our first stop off for SW300. It was a small, peaceful car park. It cost just £5 for overnight stay paid into an honesty box. We arrived at tea time and left early morning.
Perfect little community run parking spot for motorhomes, vans. Ideal to walk to the hide to view birds in the estuary, nature walk to the older castle & more. Can get fresh water & has an Elsan disposal unit but no bins. Keep it clean. Leave a deposit to use facilities/ stay here.
