World Of Faith Centre

The World of Faith Centre sits just outside Dunstable and does exactly what it says on the tin - it's a working church that celebrates multiple faiths under one roof. You'll find exhibits covering Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism, each with their own space and interactive displays that actually explain things rather than talk down to you.

It's genuinely useful if you're travelling with older kids or teenagers who want to understand different belief systems beyond what they've picked up at school. Adults often find it thoughtful too - the way different faiths sit alongside each other without being preachy is refreshing. Younger children might lose interest after 45 minutes, though the hands-on bits tend to hold their attention longer.

The centre is free to visit, which is brilliant value, though opening hours can be a bit variable so checking ahead matters. You won't need more than an hour and a half here unless you're really taking your time with everything.
