Called ahead beforehand to let them know we was coming, arrived at 10am pressed the intercom & the lady told me they don't open till 12 & hung up on me even though their own paperwork states access is from 8am, tried again the man answered & in turn hung up on me also, we were shocked to say the least at how rude & abrupt they were. Spent 2 nights here with my partner and 2 dogs, over the May bank holiday weekend. The owners are lovely and friendly, the pitches are massive, the place is really nice and the area is great! There are dog walks pretty much on the doorstep. This is a perfect place to get away to for a few days or more. Spacious pitches, wonderful helpful owners, beautiful scenery, very quiet and clean basic facilities. This is what caravanning is all about...we loved it.
