Stopsley Baptist Church

The red-brick Victorian chapel sits quietly on the edge of Stopsley, just east of Dunstable, the sort of building you'd walk past a dozen times without really seeing it. Families passing through on their way to Merlin Farm Camping (just under six miles away, handily close to Whipsnade Zoo) won't find much to occupy the kids, but if you're interested in seeing how ordinary Victorians actually worshipped, away from cathedral pomp, it's worth a detour.
