There's a barn near Whitchurch that's become something of a local landmark, covered entirely in signs - and I do mean covered. It's the sort of thing you spot from the road and think, 'What on earth is that?' Pull over and you'll find yourself staring at dozens of vintage and modern signage plastered across the structure, a genuine curiosity that speaks to British eccentricity at its finest.

What exactly you're looking at depends on when you visit and what the owner's added lately. The signs are chaotic, overlapping, sometimes witty - it's part folk art, part statement, entirely unexpected in the Shropshire countryside. You won't spend hours here; it's a quick stop, a photograph, maybe a puzzle over what message the whole thing sends.
