Don't come expecting drama or a proper walking circuit. Allow twenty minutes, perhaps half an hour if you're the sort who sits and watches the water. The lake is free to access and there's no entrance gate to negotiate.

Overflow sits within reach of Warwick itself, a proper medieval town centre worth an afternoon, and Stratford-upon-Avon is only forty minutes away - meaning this lake slot into a broader park holiday rather than justifying a trip on its own. If you're camped at Stratford Parks or Rayford, you could tack on a lakeside wander before heading into town. Just don't expect it to be anything other than what it is: a bit of water, some grass, and a chance to stretch your legs.
