Standing at 453 metres above the Conwy Valley, this modest peak delivers surprisingly rewarding views across North Wales without the crowds that swarm Snowdon. The summit offers proper panoramas stretching from the Menai Strait to Snowdonia's higher peaks, with Colwyn Bay and the coast visible on clear days.

Walkers with reasonable fitness will find the ascent manageable - it's a steady climb rather than a lung-busting slog, taking about an hour from the nearest parking spots. The paths can get muddy after rain, so decent boots are essential. Families with older children who enjoy a proper walk will get the most from this one, though it's not suitable for pushchairs or very young legs.
