There's no admission charge and no particular opening hours - you're just here on the seafront whenever you fancy it.

If you're staying at Dunroamin Caravan Park just down the road (less than half a mile), you've basically got this on your doorstep. Even from Sandycove, a couple of miles south, it's an easy pop over for a breath of sea air. The real win is combining it with a day trip to Newtownards - roughly 15 minutes inland - and making it part of a wider afternoon exploring the Ards Peninsula. It won't knock your socks off, but it's exactly what a seaside stop should be: unpretentious and genuinely pleasant.
