The Church of Strowan sits in a quiet corner near Crieff, a modest stone building that rewards a short detour if you're exploring Perthshire. It's the kind of place that doesn't shout about itself - no gift shop, no grand entrance - just a proper little church that's been standing for centuries with minimal fuss.

Twenty Shilling Wood is slightly further out but still close enough for a quick visit en route to somewhere else.

Don't expect crowds or lengthy opening hours posted online. This is a working parish church, not a heritage attraction. That's rather the point. Worth the walk from Crieff if you're in the area and enjoy the quieter side of Scottish rural life. Give it thirty minutes, tops.
