Braidhaugh Holiday Lodge & Caravan Park

Nice location in front of the river, very close to shops and cafes and you can park one car behind the pod. If you have a dog they have a big park inside, fairly clean. The pod is warm especially the en-suite bathroom which has a heater. There isn’t much privacy, especially in the hot tub, from neighbours or the main road on the bridge. Braidhaugh Holiday Lodge abuts a beautiful creek (river), and the gurgling noise gives the entire site a really lovely feeling. I am a complete newby to campervanning, and the staff were incredibly helpful. I totally recommend, and will be back 😀

The premier caravan was lovely and the hot tub was a great addition. The facilities were great and the staff were really polite and friendly. Its a shame you cant park more than 1 car at each caravan or lodge, as tricky for disabled guests. There is space for additional parking to be provided near each section. Just had a lovely quiet, relaxing few says in pod with wood fired hot tub. Only thing missing was a decent sized mirror. Had a tiny one on wall in bathroom but was far too high up for me and was not big enough. Could live with that though! Staff were amazing especially lady on main desk couldn't have been more helpful. Wonderful caravan site. The wardens are so friendly and welcoming as are all the staff we met. Superb touring pitch with hot tub heated by a woodburner. Pegging out is a bit iffy, I have some screw pegs but they needed a few attempts to get them all the way in. Not sure what other types of pegs are like. Will definitely be coming back again. Wonderful Central location for exploring Scotland
