Getting here's straightforward enough. The A64 runs right past, linking York to Leeds, while the railway station connects to York in twenty minutes. It's properly positioned between Yorkshire's bigger attractions - close enough to Harrogate's spa elegance and York's tourist crowds, but far enough away to breathe.

Staying at one of the nearby parks makes perfect sense. You're within striking distance of Yorkshire's best bits without the city centre prices. Rudding Holiday Park and others dot the area, giving you a base to explore brewing heritage one day, Yorkshire Dales the next. The limestone landscape here has shaped everything from buildings to beer - and it's all within a short drive of your caravan door.
