Weston Caravan and Campsite

We went to Weston in the low season so there was always going to be a lot of space but they offer a 10 x 10 metre patch for non electric grass pitches which is generous. The site is walking distance from 2 pubs and there is a cafe on site which was very busy on the 2 occasions I passed it (very popular with the locals which is always a good sign). Toilets and showers are clean. Our pitch was an electric hook up pitch. It was much smaller than described. Half of it was mud and another half was with holes. Potholes around on the way to toilet and was easy to trip. Pitches with no electric hook up seems better. Grass in the middle area was fine. Kids could play football or run around.

This campsite has been lovely, it’s so peaceful here, the pitches are a good size, they have good clean showers & toilets on site at a short walking distance up the pitch by the carpark, they have a cleaner clean them twice a day. They have a lovely cafe onsite too, it’s a little pricey but it’s worth it with plenty of seating inside & out with shelter & huts, it’s very child & dog friendly here. ...

We had 2 night stay, arrived early but couldn't find anyone to book us in ( it did say don't pitch up without being seen by someone) was told eventually go where I wanted,despite being a big field annoyed by kids playing football right outside our van, toilet block was nice but quite dirty. The site is basic & reception hard to find but the facilities were absolutely spotless. The cafe practically on site had a great range of food & drink and the ice cream was amazing, really worth going out of your way for! There is a really nice pub a short walk from the site too. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location for Bicester, Blenheim & Oxford. Overall recommended.
