Very fond memories,we stayed there many times over the years. First in tents,then be bought a used sprite major of the owners Mervyn and Betty who ran the site.that was through the 80s. with our 2 children we enjoyed exploring snowdonia,Anglesea and down the coast as far as Barmouth.great times.

Very good location and beautiful site! My very first camping experience and it was better than expected. The hoster was really flexible, he allowed us to move next to our friends, we very much appreciate this. Extremely clean and tidy site. Very modern and clean toilets and showers. Great base if you want to explore snowdon. Although we had a great pitch there are some on a slope, although there are plenty that are not. That being said they have plenty of fields and the pitches are very large. Had a fantastic Summer Holiday down at Twll Y Clawdd - Brilliant owners, super clean facilities and so well kept. I would definitely recommend hiring a fire pit from the main reception for sitting out in the evenings - great value for money. Perfect spot for going out Walking, Cycling or to the lake/sea for water sports. We will definitely be back, Thank you.

Really helpful owner. We booked very last minute (on a bank holiday too) and knew we would arrive late. This was absolutely no bother and had suggested a hard standing pitch near the entrance. This made it super easy to find and set up. Toilets were clean and the campsite was nice and quiet. Perfect to get a good rest before or after a hike!
