The Courts Campsite

Super CL site set in a woodland clearing. Formerly a tennis court, hence the site name. It is accessed by unclassified roads which are mostly wide enough for two vehicles. The best route is from Danbury, but we were concerned about the sharp turn at Little Baddow into Spring Elms Lane. Gem of a site. Excellent location close to canal, lock and weir. Nice little cafe. I recommend a meal at the Generals Arms. dogs welcome. Paul was very welcoming and understanding. Well worth a visit.

What a gem of a site! The whole experience was stress free, from booking, to arrival on site. The site is absolutely first class in terms of location and pitches. What a fantastic little CL caravan site. Set in old tennis courts, hence the name. All of the pitches are fully serviced, attractive, and hard standings. They are very large and level with low hedging between each pitch. There are even cycle bars to chain your bike to, which we thought were a great addition. Having water, electricity, and drain for waste water on each pitch is such a bonus too. T...
