Lamb Cottage Caravan Park

We have stayed here before when going to Old Trafford for the Rugby League Grand Final. We were told in March we couldn't book as they might not be taking bookings but to ring back in June for an update. We did ring beginning of June and booked. Warm friendly welcome, well kept grounds. Facilities block was beautifully clean with self contained full shower rooms within the building. Laundry room, washing up area just as clean. Lovely quiet site that we will definitely return to just 25 min drive from Cheshire Oaks Retail.

A lovely placed campsite with great staff. Very easy to check in and had no issues. The only small issue is the lack of temperature regulation, we struggled with the heat of the showers (Mainly as it was 32 degrees out) would be nice if you had a form of heat adjustment. Can't recommend this site highly enough. Easy to find, immaculate site, the happiest man ever in reception. The most peaceful setting with well spaced pitches, the wifi worked well enough to stream a film later on in the evening. Great shower rooms and loos. Very green, lots of birdsong and, if it's your thing, plenty of planes flying over to count 😊

Positive first, site is quiet. Not much in walking distance but we drove to the Lakeside Inn. Now the negative, pitches very close together not very well maintained. Dog poo all over the grass at side of caravan, 2 days running, owner not bothering to clean it up. Showers and toilets not cleaned as tissue on the floor from day of arrival and still there when left. Dirty mop and bucket just left on...
