Port nan Gael Campsite

Had my own room courtesy of a campervan but there you are! What a superb campsite. Outstanding facilities. Especially loved the pot wash area and boy oh boy those showers were amazing! I’m in alignment with Amy. Here on it’s reopening for the season in Pod 2 to recuperate and recharge. It’s warm, cosy, well equipped and maintained. The food in the pub is first rate but it all fades into insignificance when you wake up to that view. Perfect for couples.

Even before our arrival we were kept well informed and received a lovely call to check our best interests before we’d even stepped on the island! Fab campsite and excellent base to explore the island. Although there is no reception area, we found our pitch booking and location easily with the interactive screen.
