Stayed for a long weekend in late August 2025 with 2 kids (5yr & 9yr) who loved the experience - especially the sunset views, starry nights, and occasional biplane or Spitfire passing overhead during the day (from the airfield at nearby Imperial War Museum Duxford - definitely worth a visit if you're staying here with children). Campsite was well signposted and easy to find with about a dozen pit...

On our way to visit Newmarket racecourse where Faithless were playing we booked the campsite. It was a great location, Sarah and Simon were great hosts. The field benefits from incredible panoramic views of the local area. We saw a shooting star, which was incredible. A falcon, kite, barn owl, spitfire, and Lancaster bomber. It's very well organised with modern flush toilets, a hot shower and ...

Maybe needs a sink to wash dishes and let people in without having to call you. Great flat well kept small campsite with great views. However, be aware it only has 1 shower for the whole campsite, and no washing up facilities. Also the very secure electronic gate has to be opened by the owner to let you in which is not ideal if you can't reach them on the phone.

Lovely little spot with gorgeous views and beautiful soft grass that makes you want to walk round barefoot. I think it was at capacity on a sunny weekend, but still space for all to have a good size pitch. Very clean toilets / showers. Dog friendly, nice and quiet at night time, great for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
