Firstly, the location is lovely and so nice to be able to walk down quickly to the beach. However, for the price (£66 for two nights without EHU) we were quite disappointed with the rest of the campsite. The reception/social area was completely dead as we partly expected in September but there was no sign at all of any staff our whole stay which was disappointing. There was no map indicating where...
It is with a heavy heart that I write this, but others should be warned about our experience. We booked a week’s camping months in advance, arrived on Saturday, and enjoyed our first evening. By Sunday, a severe storm was forecast (60mph winds). Concerned for safety, we went to reception (empty), called the emergency numbers, and eventually spoke with Liv. A really beautiful spot with fantastic views, a private beach which is exclusive to the campsite and also easy access to the welsh coastal path. The facilities are excellent and the owners have thought of everything you might need. The courtyard is amazing with a bar (has a rooftop seating area to watch the sunset), cafe, shop and pizzeria. Slightest downside is that the toilet block etc is quite a way away from our van. We would love to request a block closer to this field so it's less of a walk. We'd like to know what's classed as peak t...
