Parkdean Resorts Southerness Holiday Park, Dumfries

Well where to start. What an incredible holiday park this is. It is very close to the beach, about 15 minute walk. Dumfries is about 30 minute drive away but is very easy to get to and you can see some lovely views on the drive. There is lots to do on the holiday park itself. Great quiet site very clean and right on the beach for some lovely walks. The staff here were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nice place to chill out. Only downside we found is there's not much close by in the surrounding area .

Absolutely loved this place, the carvan was very clean and tidy on arrival, the staff was amazing, the only unfortunate bad experience we had was the neighbours we had at the start of our 10day break leaving my younger children being kept awake till all hours while they partied, and as i have sever social anxiety i felt i could not confront them(i seriously felt sorry for the cleaning crew after t...

Arrived at the front gate, sent to the arcade to check in, got there at 10 to 4 and girl on desk says not ready yet, but should be by 4. Go back to desk at 4, stand in long queue for 10 mins to be told its still showing as not ready. We got into lodge at 5.30 pm. Not great as kids were starving after a long drive, they kept saying its check in from 4pm not at 4pm. But cannot fault the lodge. Gorge...

Great park dean park , probably the cleanest we have been to. Caravan was nice clean and warm with everything we needed. The highlight of the stay were the girls that done the evening entertainment they were funny to adults and kids and a real asset to the park.
