North Lees Campsite

Very quiet spot. Perfectly clean toilet/shower block. There is a shelter open to all with a table, kitchen sinks and a fridge, which is great for cooking, eating and socialising, especially in poor weather.

Great campsite, absolutely beautiful surroundings, easy walk to stanage edge. Staff on site were very helpful and welcoming Would definitely use this campsite again.

A Tale of Two Cities (Oxford and Bedford). We booked for two nights midweek thinking it would be quieter. However, around 5pm on the first night the camp was inundated with around 60 young people all on their DofE Gold. Location is stunning surrounded by woodlands. Facilities are excellent staff friendly. The site is made up of 4 fields. I pitch up in the field nearest to the facilties and near to my car as you can't park at the side of your pitch. Wheel barrows are available for transporting your equipment. The fields are sloped, but it's not a problem to find a good pitch. Few Pod if you fancy an upgrade look ...
