Marbury Camp & Lodge (Book Direct for Best Prices)

The general site was beautiful clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly welcoming & helpful. However the state of the ground (exacerbated by the weather) meant the pitches were very wet. It was impossible to avoid claggy mud both inside and outside of the van/awning which meant we spent a-lot of time cleaning.

We stayed for a night as a family of 4. Lovely site and views. Clean toilet block and sink washing facilities. If it was just the 2 adults I'd stay again as it's very relaxing. However with a 4yr old and 8yr old it was hard to entertain them with no play park ect but the weather didn't help. An absolutely amazing experience! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed sitting by the fire while it was snowing, such magical moments we’ll never forget. We spent Christmas and New year at Marbury Camp and Lodge in our motorhome. Wow what an amazing site. Friendly staff. Out in the country so an ideal place for peace and quiet. We understand that during high season they do fabulous pizzas. There are fire pits you can hire if you want to do a bit of camp fire sitting. A fantastic site for an overnight stay in our motorhome. Sadly we didn’t get time to sample the shop but the toilet and shower facilities are spot on and the hard standing pitches are a good size. The whole site has a feeling of being well cared for and is very tidy. We’ll be back.
