Hadley Covert

Hadley Covert is a proper woodland walk just outside Whitchurch, the sort of place you stumble upon rather than plan for. It's a working forest - mixed deciduous and conifer, mostly - with decent tracks threading through and the kind of quiet you don't get near towns. The canopy's thick enough that it feels removed from everything, which is exactly why people come here.
