Islay Glamping Pods

We stayed two nights here and loved it! The pods were great and the location was perfect! There’s a walking trail that connects Port Ellen to the big 3 Distilleries. We got our steps in for sure. The mornings were so peaceful with the sounds of sea birds and ocean breeze and we watched seals swim around and fish.

Perfect location for the southern distilleries. Idyllic views. Everyone was really helpful - our ferry was cancelled and I text the owner who immediately came to our pod and offered us accommodation in case we couldn’t leave the island. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Perfect location, very reasonable price, beautifully maintained. We rented bikes and rode out from town - it’s 15 minutes or so with only a few hills of any note. Beautiful views of the bay and the Lagavulin distillery, easy walking or biking access to Laphroaig and Ardbeg as well, and a 30-minute ride to the Kildalton cross. Really nice location and had exactly what we needed for our 2 day stay on Islay. We were visiting a few of the distilleries, which were walkable from this location. They are a fantastic, no frills, place to stay! Only downside for our trio was the big creak in the floor near the bathroom that we couldn't avoid and kept waking our kiddo up as we woke up during the night. Definitely not an issue if ...

What an amazing place. It is spacious and very very comfortable. It’s very clean, has everything that you could possibly need and an outstanding view. The setting is so peaceful but at the same ideally located to visit Laphroaig and Lagavulin and only a 2km walk to Ardbeg. Islay is a wonderful place to visit and next time we come I’ll definitely want to come back to Tin House. Can’t recommend it...
