Embers Camping - Claydon Campsite

Our second year staying at Embers Claydon (and I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve been to Embers as a whole!). It was a great weekend with our friends. Plenty of space on the field for the kids to play and run around. The staff were fabulous and so helpful. The facilities were clean and well looked after. We’ll be back next year!

What a beautiful gem of a campsite! The location is just stunning, right next to the grounds of claydon house. We had a huge pitch with our own fire basket, spaced well away from the other campers. From the moment we arrived, the onsite staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great and friendly Team - Spotless shower and toilet facilities, and as per embers policy - they don’t overbook / overcrowd the site. Onsite food (pizza) and coffee / snacks were great and reasonably priced. Overall great experience!

We did a school camping trip here in the Summer of 2025 (June) and we had the most fantastic time. The team running the place are charming and super helpful - they were ready with the jump leads when the car's battery ran flat. Absolutely loved camping at Embers,Claydon. We had such a warm lovely welcome from the team and they couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely clean facilities which was such a breath of fresh air and beautiful scenery. Will definitely be back and would 100% recommend this site to anyone wanting a lovely relaxed spot to go camping. Haven’t stopped talking about it to people!
