My first time staying here in my campervan and what a beautiful site. Even better, are the wardens, Brian and Alex. Nice site and reasonably flat. Access could be difficult when cars parked in access lane. Wardens welcoming even if a little officious. Nice sized pitches, good TV signal and free wifi. Toilet block needs a revamp but was clean. Toilets reluctant to flush at times and shower the push button type. One of our favourite sites, right next to the canal, nice walk along the towpath to the Barge inn, 3 magpies pub a few yards from the site gate. Good good at both. Nice sized pitches, friendly helpful wardens. Not far to the lovely market town of Devizes, bus stop at end of the lane. Shower blocks always clean, but need a refurb, showers get a bit hot 🔥
Stopped here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Pitches are a decent size and mostly level. We've just come back from our caravan stay at this site. The site is well looked after by the team and they are friendly and approachable. There is a pub, "The Three Magpies" within about 3 minutes from the site, that serves lovely food.
