Budle Bay Campsite

Stopped for 2 nights in a campervan. Pitch was under some trees and due to the high winds at night and twigs dropping on to our van we had to move to another pitch. Cracking site in a perfect location for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coastline. Pitches a good size, especially extra large ones. Friendly, safe site. We booked this site as knew it has a great location with an amazing beach and walk to Bamburgh. However the site is lacking to say the least. First impressions are of a building site. Booked to stay for a couple of nights in one of the huts. Yes the facilities are basic, but they are clean and very well kept. The hut we stayed in was for two people, had everything we needed, toaster, kettle, microwave along with seating and a table. We arrived at Budle Bay. And we're greeted by a lovely young lady on reception who was very pleasant and clear with directions parking up etc. The site is very relaxed .
