Not sure what happened here but the staff seem quite rude and not welcoming to to the local community. I brought my autistic son for a walk but were told to get off as it's private property and park elsewhere! We used to come here for years and even considered coming here with family to camp as they seams always nice and we bought stuff from their shop during the summer months! But clearly things...

We spent a weekend at this campsite with my family and really enjoyed it. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and the facilities were clean and sufficient. However, my hammock, which I hung carefully without harming the trees, was removed by the staff even though this is not mentioned in the policy. Also, the internet connection was weak — both mobile and Wi-Fi signals were poor in the camping area...

So well run and friendly staff. We loved our short stay here. Definitely one of the best CAMC Club sites and very close to London. Plenty of good walks -to Chaldon Church and along the old Pilgrims Way
