Y Wenallt

The walk up Y Wenallt rewards you with proper views across the Powys valleys - the sort of panorama that makes the climb worthwhile. It's a modest peak by Welsh standards, but that's rather the point: accessible enough for a Saturday afternoon without requiring fell-walking kit, yet steep enough to feel like you've earned your time at the top.

You're looking at roughly two hours return, depending on pace and how long you linger at the summit. There's nothing formal about it - no facilities, no car park that I'm aware of - so come prepared. Boots matter; the ground gets boggy in wet weather.
