Whincover Wood

Walk into Whincover Wood and you're immediately wrapped in that proper Yorkshire woodland atmosphere - tall trees blocking out the sky, the ground soft underfoot with decades of leaf matter. It's a small forest just outside York, the kind of place locals know but visitors often miss entirely.
