The Chilterns View is three miles out, which is an easy drive. It pairs well with a Wallingford riverside walk as part of a wider afternoon out. The free access and lack of car park formality means you can slip in and out without ceremony, which some will love and others might find a touch underdeveloped. For a morning constitutional with decent canopy cover, it does the job. Worth the visit if you're camping nearby rather than a reason to travel miles on its own.
