Harcourt Hill

Rolling farmland stretches in every direction from this modest Oxfordshire peak that sits just outside Wallingford. At barely 140 metres high, Harcourt Hill won't challenge serious walkers, but the gentle climb rewards you with surprisingly sweeping views across the Thames Valley.

Walkers will appreciate the network of footpaths that cross the hill, though don't expect dramatic mountain scenery - this is classic English countryside at its most understated.
