Historically minded types will appreciate the bones of it, though Lee-on-the-Solent isn't packed with additional attractions to build a day around. That said, if you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks - Kingfisher just 3.6 miles away, or Mill Rythe if you prefer something nearer the coast at 5.5 miles - it's an easy pop into town. The seafront itself is where the real draw lies: a pleasant esplanade that's genuinely good for a walk, and the beach is functional rather than stunning. Families with young kids might spend an hour here without fuss, though don't expect them to be enthralled by the church itself. The town's best for a half-morning amble, a reasonable coffee, and a bit of breathing space between park and beach.
