Penlle'r Castell

You'll find yourself standing on a windswept hillside in Carmarthenshire with nothing but grass, stone, and a proper sense of having stepped back centuries. Penlle'r Castell is an Iron Age fort - basically a ring of ancient earthworks that once enclosed a settlement, probably housing a few hundred people who'd fortified themselves against whoever their neighbours were back then.
