Paddocks For Paws

A working farm just outside Stoke-on-Trent, Paddocks For Paws is exactly what it sounds like - a place where dogs get to run around properly on actual farmland. There's no pretentious décor or Instagram-bait here. You turn up with your mutt, they have space to charge about, and that's the job done.

It's pitched at dog owners, obviously. If you've got a spaniel that won't stop bouncing off the walls or a rescue that needs proper exercise away from busy roads, this fits the bill. The nearest proper camping options are Intake Farm Campsite and Glencote Caravan Park, both less than 2.5 miles away, which makes this a decent add-on to a wider Staffordshire trip if you're based at either site. Admission details aren't clear from what I can find, so ring ahead or check their site before you go - opening hours seem fluid too. Worth factoring into a longer countryside stay near Stoke, but don't make a special journey unless your dog genuinely needs the space. It's functional rather than fancy, which sometimes is exactly what you need.
