It's the sort of place that rewards a wander if you're already exploring the seafront or heading towards the pier - not a destination in itself, but a genuine bit of local history that most visitors miss.

The two caravan parks nearby - Three Cliffs Bay and Nicholaston Farm - are both excellent bases for this kind of casual wandering.
