Low Buston Medieval Village

Walk across a field near Alnwick and you're treading on the remains of a village that vanished around 500 years ago. Low Buston is what archaeologists call a deserted medieval village - DMV - and what you'll actually see are earthwork ridges and bumps that mark where houses, fields, and farms once stood.
