Llanddeusant Church

The church sits quietly in the village of Llanddeusant, a few miles south of Holyhead, and it's one of those places that rewards a deliberate detour rather than a casual pass-by. This is a proper old Welsh church - the kind with a graveyard that feels lived-in by centuries of local history, and a building that speaks to the landscape around it rather than shouting for attention.

You could easily combine it with the nearby caravan parks - Dronwy is barely two miles away, and Pencraig just over three - making it a morning or late-afternoon exploration from a week's base on the island.
