If you're camping at Chesil Beach Lodge Park or one of the other sites dotted around Weymouth, it's a decent diversion on a decent day. The real appeal is less the monument itself and more the sense of standing in a genuinely ancient place without crowds or entrance fees. Worth a detour, but not worth driving hours out of your way for alone.
