West Dorset Heritage Coast

The cliffs along West Dorset's heritage coast are something else entirely - golden sandstone layered like a geological timeline, dropping sheer into the sea. You're looking at 185 million years of the Earth's story written in rock, which sounds dramatic until you're actually standing there and realizing each band of colour represents a different era.
