Hazelbank Park

The walk through Hazelbank starts on a proper muddy track that winds into thick woodland - the kind of place where you actually feel you've left Belfast behind, even though the city is barely on your doorstep. It's a small nature reserve, nothing grandiose, but genuinely rewarding if you're after native trees, birdsong, and the chance to spot the odd roe deer picking its way through the undergrowth.
